Chocolate Oats

Delicious fruity oats for a wholesome breakfast

Equipment

Ingredients

On the Stove

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 1/4 cups water

In the Blender

  • 1 tsp cacao powder unsweetened
  • 7 pieces dates to taste (adds sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup water substitute with plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed powder

Toppings

  • 1/2 piece apple chopped
  • 1 cup berries
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts

Instructions

On the Stove

  • Boil the water. After the water is boiling, lower the flame, add 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats, and stir well. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally

In the Blender

  • Add the dates, water, cacao powder, and flaxseed powder. Blend them together into a fine chocolatey paste

Toppings

  • Turn the flame off and add berries, apple, and cashew nuts. Mix well and enjoy!
